Position Purpose

To be part of a team that presents 200+ film per year utilizing professional digital and 35mm projection equipment in the projection booths of Spaulding and the Loew Auditoriums.

Skills & Knowledge
  • Mechanical ability in both analog and digital technologies.
  • An interest in film.
  • An intuitive flair to ‘put on a good show.’
Minimum Experience

Projection booth experience is highly desirable but not required.

Major job functions

  • Operates the projection and sound equipment for presentation in Spaulding and the Loew.
  • Periodic maintenance of these projectors at an elementary level.
  • Inspects and evaluates 35mm film prints and all video prior to public screening.
  • Advises supervisors of malfunctioning projection or sound equipment and/or anticipated future needs and technologies.
