Position Purpose

To provide classroom support in the form of tracking and recording class participation activities in the MBA classroom by attending all classes of a particular course during a term.

Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong communication skills; effective listening, proficient reading and writing skills in English.
  • Ability to be punctual and reliable.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse community.
Minimum Experience
  • Some college-level classroom experience.
  • Transcription, note- or minutes-taking experience helpful.
Minimum Education
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Classroom Support

  • Takes notes during all class sessions for an assigned course using a computer and appropriate systems.
  • Tracks class participation by recording student name, student responses, time and where student is seated.
  • Prepares written file for instructor to view after each class session.
