Position Purpose

Provides administrative support for functions in the Arts and Sciences Finance Center.

Skills & Knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Familiarity with computer programs and multi-function devices
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Minimum Experience
  • Two plus years experience in an office setting
  • Preferably experience in financial administrative offices
Minimum Education

Associates’ degree or the equivalent in education and experience

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities

Administrative Support
• Schedules meetings as appropriate.
• Sorts and distributes department/office mail.
• Maintains inventory and orders office supplies as needed.
• Triages the main Finance Center email account.
• Process corporate and procurement card applications.
• Track eligibility and process requests for the faculty Computer Upgrade Program.
• Assists web editor with updating content for the Finance Centers and Dean of Faculty websites, ensuring attention to detail and timeliness.
• Handles confidential, sensitive information, exercises excellent professional judgment, discretion, and interacts appropriately with customers.

Recruitment
• Processes appropriate staff recruitments for the division as DORR Applicant Manager, guiding the customer through the hiring process.
• Tracks divisional new hires to ensure they are onboarded with appropriate access level and orientation. Communicates directly with new hires – faculty and administrators.

Professional Development
• Cross trains with other team members to assure adequate coverage, accurate and consistent information and timeliness.
• Attends functional workshops, training in order to remain/become proficient in necessary systems standards.
• Attends personal development training workshops.
• Attend customer service workshops.

Other
• Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness through actions, interactions, and communications with others.
