TuckGO-OnSite Global Consulting (OnSite) is a 2nd year elective experiential learning course in the MBA curriculum at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Students refine their consulting project management, leadership, and teamwork skills in the course through hands-on consulting projects in international venues. We source projects from corporations, not-for-profits, and governments and recommend actionable solutions to clients’ operational and business development challenges.

Position Purpose

Manages internal and external communications and marketing for the OnSite Global Consulting course and provides program management for the course overall. Coordinates cross-cutting TuckGO initiatives and builds OnSite and TuckGO brand awareness to cultivate strong relationships with colleagues, students, alumni, corporate decision-makers, and others.

Skills & Knowledge

• Understands and articulates the value of TuckGO courses as an integral part of the MBA experience.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Successfully plans, multi-tasks, prioritizes, makes decisions, and completes complex projects and tasks on time, often under pressure.
• Synthesizes and presents information on a range of business topics; is knowledgeable and/or willing to learn about industries relevant to MBA students.
• Exemplary communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to interact with all levels and backgrounds, including C-level executives.
• Proficient with office software, database systems (including CRM systems), learning management systems, and related software.
• Committed to building an inclusive community that values the diversity of backgrounds, talents, experiences, and perspectives of all its members.
• Some nights and weekend weekend work required at peak times and when projects are in cycle.

Minimum Experience

• Demonstrated success in a communications, marketing, or similar role.
• Familiar with higher education administration or similar work.
• Experience working successfully on a team and with a variety of constituencies: e.g., alumni, faculty, students, administrators, clients, etc.
• Prior international exposure or experience preferred.
• Understanding of the consulting process preferred.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree.

MBA/Master’s degree preferred.

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities

• Cultivates a deep understanding of global, experiential learning programming at Tuck and how each of these programs create value for company partners, Tuck students, faculty, and the institution overall.
• Drives planning and marketing of OnSite events (info session, Tuck Tails, Open House, etc.) and provides support for event logistics.
• Develops effective messaging and marketing tools for OnSite and TuckGO overall – message guides, marketing materials/brochures, board communications, orientation/admissions presentations, etc.
• Represents the team in information sessions, Tuck orientation, team debrief meetings, and other OnSite/TuckGO events.
• Writes reports, industry and client briefings, client proposals, and grant applications to create new project opportunities.
• Logs and tracks client information in Hubspot CRM and supports regular outreach/business development efforts.
• Develops and manages client budgets – prepares budget estimates for client proposals.
• Engages and coordinates with Tuck Advancement, Dean’s office, and Tuck Communications to ensure all parties have the latest and best information to represent TuckGO externally.
• Manages client gift ordering, inventory, and disbursement to teams/TuckGO team members each cycle.
• Provides student-facing support as needed during application and staffing process and supports OnSite travel logistics as needed at peak times.
• Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness through actions, interactions, and communications with others.
