The men’s rugby assistant coach will be part of a decision-making team with the Head Coach and student officers to plan, coach, administer, promote and recruit for Dartmouth men’s rugby.
The coach will serve as Head of Physical Performance and manage team and individual strength and conditioning. The assistant coach will assist the Head Coach in all areas of the men’s rugby program.

Position Purpose

Assist the Head Coach in all areas of administration and management of the men’s rugby team

Skills & Knowledge
  • Proven rugby specific skill acquisition.
  • Proven rugby specific strength and conditioning expertise.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the wide variety of people in the Dartmouth rugby community.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Competency in Sportscode/HUDL.
  • Ability to recruit effectively.
  • Strong commitment to a diverse working environment and to serving the needs of a large and diverse community.
Minimum Experience
  • 5 years of experience coaching collegiate rugby.
  • 2 years of experience in collegiate strength and conditioning in a team sports environment.
Minimum Education
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strength and Conditioning certification (e.g. NSCA).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Certified USA or World Rugby coach.
