Position Purpose

In collaboration with Associate Director, Knowledge Management and Communications, Associate Director, Recruiting, and career coaches, evaluates and monitors the quality of services offered to students by the Career Development Office (CDO) through data gathering and metrics assessments and recommends improvements. Creates, expands and supports student communications and materials around CDO services to maximize student learning and awareness, and support community building in a diverse population.

Skills & Knowledge

• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent database and document management skills.
• Strong project management and execution skills, particularly in the area of knowledge management, information science, and communications.
• Outstanding oral/written communications skills with the ability to effectively and responsively assimilate and articulate technical information.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple competing requests at many times with tight time constraints.
• Commitment to providing excellent service, and to serving the needs of a diverse population with expectations for high quality and responsive service.
• Proficiency in systems/file management and associated productivity tools.
• Ability to quickly adapt and learn software applications as required.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative in carrying out key accountabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member.

Minimum Experience

• Experience developing and managing digital content and using database software programs.
• Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, public facing office.
• Experience creating video content.
• Experience in supporting knowledge management programs for service organizations.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in education and experience.

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities

Communications
• Supports and facilitates career office communications for student career development purposes to prospective, current and recently graduated students, and recruiters and alumni.
• Plans and creates web content, CDO team collaboration site, newsletter campaigns, instructional videos and other digital content; maintains communications calendar and helps develop and evaluate communication strategies for different channels, content, and/or audiences.

Systems Responsibilities
• Gathers and evaluates data, monitors usage data, administers surveys and aggregates the results for continued improvement of the CDO services.
• Maintains a deep understanding and working knowledge of the various systems, data and metrics important to the CDO in order to provide support with data-driven projects.
• Creates quarterly reports on key metrics and results, presents findings to the CDO team.
• Supports data gathering, maintenance and monitoring in Tuck Recruiting, electronic records, vendors and resources on team collaboration site. Maintains the learning management system, and CDO video channel.

Ongoing Projects and Duties
• Coordinates, co-manages and executes various conferences, special projects and events.
